Getting started

What is CrossFit?

CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program that combines weightlifting, gymnastics, cardio, and functional movement. It's built to make you stronger, fitter, and more capable in everyday life. Workouts are constantly varied, scalable to any level, and done in a supportive group setting that makes training fun. Whether you're brand new or have years behind you, CrossFit meets you where you're at and helps you grow from there.

Do I need experience to start CrossFit?

Not at all. CrossFit is for everyone, whether it's your first workout ever or you've trained for years. Our coaches guide you through every movement and scale each workout to your level, so you'll feel confident from your very first class.

Can I try a class first?

Of course. Most people start with our 4-Week Intro, but you can also book a single drop-in for any class to test the waters first. Either way, a coach walks you through it and scales the workout to your level.

Do you offer intro or on-ramping classes?

We don't run a traditional on-ramp series. The best way to start is our 4-Week Intro: four weeks of unlimited classes to build confidence and get a feel for the coaching and the community. Every class is scaled to your level, so you can jump in from day one.

What should I bring or wear to my first class?

Comfortable athletic clothes, clean indoor training shoes, and a water bottle, that's it. We have washrooms, locker rooms, and showers if you want to clean up after. Show up a few minutes early and let a coach know it's your first time.

Yes, plenty of free parking out front and around back.

Is it close to the train station?

Yes, you can walk or bike from the Barlow/Max Bell station, just a few minutes away.

How far is the new location from the old Bridgeland gym?

About 6 minutes by car (LFG Labs).

Membership & classes

How much does it cost?

Plans range from a single drop-in to unlimited monthly, with options for most schedules and budgets. New members usually start with the 4-Week Intro. See the full breakdown on the pricing page.

Do you cap class sizes?

Yes, though the cap depends on the class. The simplest rule: reserve your spot ahead of time and it's guaranteed. Book in advance and you'll never get turned away at the door.

Can I cancel or pause my membership?

Yes, most of our membership options allow pauses or cancellations. We allow 2 pauses per year for a max of 30 days.

Do you offer specialty classes?

Yes! We run Olympic lifting on Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM and Sundays at 10:45 AM, plus Mom & Baby classes Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:30 to 2:30 PM. You'll find every class on the schedule.
